SIGHTLESS CHILDREN CLUB MISSION
The purpose of SCC is to help blind and visually impaired people achieve self-confidence, social independence, self sufficiency and self-respect by providing them with aids, adaptive equipment and technology needed to function on the same level as their sighted peers.
WHO WE ARE
Sightless Children Club (SCC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1952 for parents and legal guardians of blind and visually impaired children and young adults. SCC supplies specialized equipment needed to enhance the educational endeavors of visually impaired individuals at the grade school, high school and post-secondary levels enabling them to perform on the same level as their sighted peers. SCC also provides support and social development through monthly meetings and special events.
SUPPORT FOR PARENTS & FAMILIES
We meet regularly on the
Third Monday of the month
from September through May.
Our meetings begin at 7:00 p.m.
and are located at
950 Helke Road, Vandalia, OH 45377.
Geographic Area Served:
We offer a comprehensive service to children and young adults who are blind & visually impaired. We also offer support to the parents & families in a wide geographic location which include:
